How much do your Appraisal Services Cost? What are Your Fees?
We work on a time+travel basis at a rate of $160 per hour. The amount of hours vary depending upon the research and requirements of each item
To provide a quote, our appraiser would need to consult with you and do a valuation of the estate
Fees are as Follows:
GoodLife Appraisals charges an hourly rate of $160, there is a one-time report fee for printing/binding/shipping
at $25.00-$95.00 which includes two copies. GoodLife Appraisals charges a retainer fee equivalent to 1-2 hours for
travel time which may be waived however any additional or extensive travel fees may apply e.g. parking and tolls.
Expert witness services including deposition, arbitration and court appearances are charged at $200 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum.

What does an Appraisal look like?
We do an On-site inspection of specified items including inventory, measurements, photography and examination
We perform most research from our offices including research of the item's history, market analysis, past auction sales final valuation
We finalize our report and documentation and review it with our client. Each item or Lot will have a description, condition, value and digital photograph
Our appraisals are compliant with the report writing standards of the International Society of Appraisers, and/or IRS regulations (if required)
The final reports are available in printed copy, or can be provided electronically online or by e-mail
How Long does an Appraisal Take?
Most Appraisals take 3-5 business days after the initial appointment.
This depends greatly on the type of item(s) in the appraisal, the number of items being appraised and our staff load and schedule.
